I am alone when I wonder why Galway City (and county) doesnt seem to be producing good bands at the same rate as it capital cousin Granted, we have a less dense (!) population but surely we should be able to pull together and produce some good indie rock that reflects the mindstate of us on the west side of the Shannon
I've read countless interviews with artists (such as Snow Patrol, Fionn Regan I think) etc.) who have described Galway as a much more arty and inspiring city than Dublin ...

We're looking for a rock-solid bass player (23-30) who really knows their stuff, has the right gear and has a lot of experience under his/her belt.
