Like the title says I’m looking to join a band or start something with other musicians (mid 20’s ) who want to play in a band, create great interesting music and push well beyond playing sh1tty mid-week pay-to-play gigs.
After wasting time in bands who were more talk than action & getting somewhat disillusioned with music I’m now looking to start jamming with people who are willing to commit time and money to a band.
As regards bass players whose stlye I like I'd say Duff McKagan...

Gigging Dublin band seeks bassist with gigging experience and/or who is a quick learner. We have a large body of songs recorded of which almost 20 are played live and we need someone who can jump straight in and learn exisitng bass lines and add to existing/new songs where suitable.

i am setting up a thurs night weekly jam in a northside dublin pub from around mid-nov onwards.....the night will include 20-30 minute guest slots for invited bands/musicians (all genres)
i also want to hear from musicians (folk, trad style) who are interested in collaborating every week or every other week for a kinda loosely organised jam session.....
percussion is encouraged but unfortunately no full kits because of bar size

Hi, my band have decided to expand our line up, we are ideally looking for a guitar player with some keyboard skills but we are willing to consider anything musical.
At present we are a three piece drums, bass and guitar but we also use an apple for live samples.
We play what I would describe as instrumental rock/ post rock and collectively we would share these influences.
