I reckon it's got to be the Rednecks as well.

Without question, the best Dublin band at the moment is Pugwash - great, great songs and they put on a cracking live show - they are playing HWCH this Friday so if you get a chance go see them! pbee

God is an Astronaut got a great review in latest Uncut 4/5. Is their new album worth checking out?

oh yeah i got confused by the fact that they want the public to "dig deep into their pockets" but then dont want to pay any tax. my mistake.

no no, my mistake, the thread must be about band's financial ongoings rather than musical output PQ

haha, bethlehem no youre right pq, u2 have put out some great albums, i dont listen to them much anymore to be honest. but when i was away travelling you hear s**t loads of em, and a lot of it is quite good, some very. (new stuff doesnt appeal to me at all, some of pop, but zooropa is a great album) about moving their money, ordinary band no problem. when youre gonna preach though, i think it absolutely reeks of hypocrisy. that really turned me off

i'd go with: the immediate neosupervital (dublin-ish) director delorentos RoL pugwash might well be added to that list when i get around to listening to them

i was under the impression that all or most of the extended bellx1 massive were from the leixlip/celbridge general area? but i could be (in fact i probably am) wrong!
