Anyone heard their new album, heard some of the stuff on myspace which is great but i ain't got the album yet so if anyone got the album it'd be awesome to hear the response

Yeah....very impressive album and surprised that no-one here has mentioned them yet or the Irish media have reviewed their album.

Ooh do you have to shout so loud?! I absolutely love "This Life" which I grabbed off MySpace, & Sing Song Sung which I got off Itunes. Not sure where to buy the album online, must get around to getting the CD somewhere. Its a pity we've lost them to the States, and to a lesser extent Australia. Fingers crossed they come home soon.

Based in L.A. I think.......that's where they recorded the album anyway. Most of the American media have started to pick up on them, so surprising that they've been forgotten about over here. Not to say that they were huge here before they left.

Seem to be ads for this on a load of the American music blog\review sites.. they must be really pushing for it to catch on amongst the US indie set. I was never into them too much back when they used to get played on Phantom - seemed to mostly be a sort of lumpy The Bends-esque anthem rock - do they sound any different these days?

Havent heard much of the new stuff but i used to love "Waiting in the wings" and "Dependence Theme".

have the Sing Sing Sung EP or whatever they released a couple of years ago. Really good, hadn't heard much from them since, they've largely been ignored over here. Looking forward to hearing the record.

Gar and Dermot are correct about the U.S. Indie/progressive stations playing this group. I heard them for the first time on our local Indie station. The song was, "This Life." The music and lyrics were so appealing that I quickly wrote some of the words down as well as the name of the group. The U.S. is very big on Irish celebrities right now. The Irish have it all: Talent, Looks, charisma, wit, intelligence.... and now we've got LaRocca! Keep 'em coming. We love you!
