This week's Hot Press is set to carry an interview with Kevin Shields (he's on the cover) under the rather depressing title 'My Bloody Valentine RIP'. Should be good reading fodder though.

Vent they used to play Prince covers in a bars in Paris years ago, went on to become Air's touring/backing band. 'United' was released in 2000. They are signed to Source records. They've a new album out at the end of the month called Alphabetical which is getting pretty good reviews. They're doing a small tour over the next few months, but sadly not venturing to Ireland :( (Though they are playing Paris on 4th & 5th May and London's Mean Fiddler on 29th May). Even if it were true (which I doubt) I couldn't think of a worse place to see them. Still, we live in hope.
