For all the Frames-lovin fans on these boards, the lads are again disguising themselves to play a charity gig in the Village on Sunday in aid of the tsumani appeal. Just thought I would inform whoever actually likes the band---someone had to vote for them to top the Cluas Polls

What is the story with them doing gigs under these names? Last time it was The Arnott's - now The Cleary's. Whats the reason behind it?

I can only presume its for the sake of the fans who have been pushed aside in the last year or two. Its announced on the MB, & all kept pretty hush hush by all concerned. For the likes of MCD announce that 'The Frames' are playing Whelans/Village, would have everyone with a creditcard snapping them up in a matter of minutes. At least this way people can head down after work/college to buy them.
