For those not in any bands who in your humble opinion are the best band currently residing in dublin my vote lies with the chapters after seeing them live and hearing their new ep

i reckon The Mighty Stef, album and live. The North Strand Kyzlmer Band would also be right up there, different style of thing, but theyre both sweaty!

I believe Niamh is from Dublin and Darcy is from Navan. And ultra parochial people would say that Ollie is from Carnross (sp?)

I thought she was from Scotland or some place on the other isle? Anyway Podge isn't even from this planet so it doesn't matter really.

IIRC born in Dubland grew up in Scotlin and then came home. Podge, like all men is from Mars.

You're so wrong, it's obviously the Redneck Japeifesto.

Yeah, probably the Rednecks... What's the deal with The Jimmy Cake at the moment does anyone know? They've been awfully quiet in the last 12-18 months, and no updates to their website in a long time.

they've lost some members and recruited some more. work continues on the next album. i saw them play in the sugar club a while back with the new people. it sounded good.
