Yeah, Sno Angel is a real grower. Think this thread is a free for all at this stage.

not a Shadow boycott - it's just that I think the promoters should actually list what kind of set it is, because it's not Shadow playing his own stuff - therefore, the listing is misleading.

If DJ Shadow fails to entertain then maybe Cut Chemist can make it all better. According to his MySpace page, he's down to play the Sunday of Electric Picnic. This is good news, especially since his new album is class.

now if they could hook shadow up with cut chemist from some good ould funk n soul 45s.... looking forward to seeing amadou et mariam as well, though not sure what they'll be like without manu chao. Oh "The Skatallites" f**king amazing live, saw em in the village last year, full on good times, n happy dancing. pity the double bassist is not touring with them anymore, but absolute quality nonetheless.

I warmed up for Cut Chemist when he played in Galway last year. He puts on a good show. I'd recommend checking him out.

I was deliberating for so long to go or not: so f**king pricey, can't be bothered csmping for the weekend and now it's sold out and I'm curiously unbothered as the line-up is quite poor, if truth be told. The last time I went camping was as a boy scout. I don't intend doing it as an adult. In the rain. Which begs the question? Why didn't they sell day tickets!!!! I would have bought a Friday ticket months ago as it's got the best selection of bands. Ah f**k it! Looks like it's gonna be Daft Punk in Marley and Mogwai in Royal Albert Hall for me this year.

i reckon they didnt sell day tickets for the vibe, theyre pretty hell bent on a glasto typa thang it looks like. Wouldnt bother me at all, but im guessing they wont be going all out for glasto and letting you bring your own booze into the concert area. cos like, man, theyd lose money.
