Plus O'Brien is funny as f**k too, which helps...

Kerry band Ten Past Seven have won the Murphy’s Live 2005 music showcase.
The Killarney band made it to the final eight in the nationwide competition which offered bands the chance to join the bill at Murphy’s Live gigs in Dublin Waterford, Cork and Killarney.
Each of the final eight bands was judged on their live performance with Ten Past Seven coming out on top.

Paul McGuinness was on Fanning's show on Monday last saying that there was to be an announcement this week as to when tickets for the third U2 gig ( Monday 27th June ) were going on sale. So far I haven't heard diddley squat. Anyone else got any info / gossip / idel speculation

Hey Y'all,
I'm doing a piece for college radio on festivals in Ireland and Europe. The show is going to run for 10 days, so i'm gonna take a festival a day and do an informative piece on each festival...
i.e. Historical info on the event, How to get there, What r what not to bring, what to be wary of and so on.
Im gona be talking to people who have been, asking them if they have any advise for festival virgins and asking them to share some of their own personal experiences.
