Well what a day on Satuday, we didn't get the sunshine but at least it didn't rain. Nightmare traffic getting out there, took way longer than last year but made it in time for Kaiser Chiefs who played a brilliant set, really got the crowd going reckon they should have been higher up the bill, next up were Razorlight with Johnny Borrell really playing to the crowd, they were great and he's very sexy which always helps. Bit of Snoop Dogg (not great) before Hal in the Green Room, disappointing. Bac... | | | | 22 | 3277 | 7/11/2005 10:09 AM |

										Here's an interesting poll:
How many of you guys/gals have at least one Klaus Nomi record in your collection I got reminded of this guy because I say Andrew Horn's newest documentary The Nomi Song. I actually remember buying a copy of Simple Man like 5 years ago on vinyl solely based on his odd appearance. Plus, he performed with Bowie...by the way, the film was excellent and it has the Bowie SNL performance (no dates however, which is a bit confusing). Anyone see it through Universal or... | | | | 0 | 1369 | 7/9/2005 12:06 AM |

No idea if you have heard about it but just goes to show how small the music scene is in ireland.
Whelans have pulled all their ads from Hot Press due because of the row over phantom FM. Stokes and Co are appealing the decision to award the radio license to Phantom FM so Whelans and places related to them have pulled their ads. So, like a bucket load of other people, im off to oxegen this weekend.
Now, im not a newbie to this whole oxegen/witnness thing, been every year since it started.
But what im looking for is recommendations as to which bands are worth catching in on the New Band Stage or the Ticket Stage.
While im familiar with a good few of the bands listed, id like suggestions from people as to who they reckon would be worth catchin.
Ill try check them out then.
im not looking for the 'Worst Line up... | | | | 41 | 7229 | 7/5/2005 12:14 PM |
