Hello everyone.
I know a lot of people here attended the Oxegen festival - camping or non-camping.
I would really appreciate it if anyone who did attend could just drop me a quick email, to which I will reply with a few questions.

I don't wish to conduct a conversation on the board about the festival as I'm sure you all understand, many other boards have been closed due to certain remarks about the promoters being made.

I know that a few people on this board either DJ or play in a band (or both) and I was just wondering what's the strangest request you've ever recieved from a punter whilst playing out. For years my favourite request was 'It's my best friends birthday and I'm trying to shift his sister so will you play the Darkness'. But on Monday night I was playing James Brown when some incapacitated redneck came up and slurred 'Do you've any black man's music like Eminem'.

I've been reading this site on and off for the past 3 weeks or so but only registered today.
Just wondering what people thought about Hard Working Class Heroes teaming up with Bud Rising. Its hard to know where to draw the line between 'selling out' and generating funding. Last years HWCH was good (apart from Spirit, dear lord please don't let them use that venue again!) but not a patch on the year before, i hope it doesn't continue its decline, 'cause in theory its a great idea.

This vodafone access live gig at a 'secret location' is a load of crap.
It's in the middle of the liffey on a pontoon and anyone can see it tomorrow at lunchtime.
This secret gig business and getting a text saying 'congratulations your going to the gig' was a load of waffle. Anyone can go.
