1 Replies and 1427 Views liverpool music scene  1427  1 Started by  badboy has anybody got round to checking out the bands that are sprouting out of liverpool. bands such as the bandits, the stands, tramp attack and the coral (believe me theres loads more i just forget their names) liverpool must have something in the water cause it seems that all bands coming from there are just pure genius!!!!

The gig is in aid of Gigsmart's second compilation CD that will contain the best of the bands involved in Gigsmart. We will be doing a full on, all out nationwide release and are hoping to get the thing in the charts. in order to do so, we need support from everyone and their granny so if ya can please try and make it along. 2 Replies and 1162 Views ballroom of romance 11  1162  2 Started by  king of nails was at the ballroom of romance in portobello last night and once more was treated to some of the best music to be found anywhere... derrick devine is a songwriter of huge potential with a terrific stage presence and gave a passionate performance with his band which apparently was his first proper gig...fans of the frames, dEUS, tindersticks should check him out... the tycho brahe were sublime as you'd expect, although their reflective intricate music was perhaps lost a bit in the hyper atmosph...
