A friend-of-a-friend plays in a rock/jazz/funk type band and is looking for a bassplayer and a guitarist ('ideally someone who knows their way around the guitar and is able to play jazz-type chords'). They're planning to do some recording in March and gigging thereafter.

The 'Wanted' series of showcase gigs for original bands is continuing into 2003. Running every Thursday since last June over 100 bands have been showcased.
The Venue for these gigs is 'The Music Room' opposite the Abbey Theatre. It is not a pay to play gig. You do not have to sell tickets. And you can make money out of it.

NYC singer/songwriter, coming to Ireland for 1-week tour, needs bass player ASAP. Must be available for the week of Feb. 15-22 for rehearsals and gigs in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast. Having transportation is a plus.
