I used to listen to BBC 6 all the time in a previous job (where 7 of us shared a 2MB leased line internet connection - great days). It was top notch, both entertaining and decent music throughout. Of course, it is a digital only channel and subsequent jobs have been less than generous with the interweb pipe so haven't caught it in a year or so. Anyone out there listen? Any use?

I listen to 6 music and its quite good in the afternoon especially Steve Lamaqs show. But far too much emphasis on Engerlish bands....(i s'ppose it is BBC afterall but ya know what I mean) And they have stupid comps which I never really understand...like listeners ringing in talking about their dogs who can bark along to Bloc Party or something, fascinating! But all in all it beats the others & sure the afternoon flies in....

i shouldn't really have to defend this but... i reckon leagues is the perfect middle ground between tom dunne and donal dineen... ...if he does have a vested interest in some, it's obviously only a very small minority... and aside from that, goodtime john is coooool, maaaan
