No, not my wedding. But my brother is getting married next month, and as part of the ceremony he's asked me to play a short song - something pleasant, easy, you know the type. But I've no idea. Suggestions please! Nothing too clichéd preferably...

    Thanks

I always felt Springsteen's "If I should fall behind" was apt for a wedding.

How about Big Star's wonderful "I'm In Love With a Girl"... 90 seconds of magic.

'You You You You You' by The 6ths. They'll laugh, they'll cry, they'll sing along.

Cupid by Sam Cooke. At least that's what I had at mine. Shouldn't be hard to get the chords.

Another 2 I'd recommend are "Yes It's True" by the Slackers or "Long after Tonight is all Over" By Jimmy Redcliffe (I think)

Mason Jennings 'Which Way Your Heart Will Go'
The WaterBoys 'A Man Is In Love' (esp if you someone with fiddle skills to accompany you)
James Taylor 'How Sweet It Is' (which was our first song at my wedding in '07, near man-tears)
