well, I never really liked the Glen Hansard skits, thought they were a bit dumb - there's a lot of that, him sitting in 'Phelans' with Ollie from Turn. The You're A Spa piece (as in You're A Star) is hilarious, as is the Gerry Ryan skit in 'Ryan Compliamentary'. But the best stuff is when they take the piss out of Irish comedians - there's a brilliant one with Des Bishop, PJ Gallagher, Dave McSavage, Jay Byrne and Dara O'Brian proposing new programmes to RTE. Pure genius. Oh, and then there's another one with James Blunt, Chris Martin, Liam Gallagher and Bono which is also quite fantastic.

But is it worth buying Una? I'd be interested to see the piss taking of the piss poor Irish comedians.

Next week's Last Broadcast has a good clip from the DVD in it. Got the comedians in it. There'll be TV ads on soon too!

If they do a piss-take of that bunch of smug, self-satisfied,unfunny ugly bunch of c**ts passing themselves off as 'comedians' that appear on The Panel every week, then I'll buy the DVD and make no mistake!

Spot on antistar. How those pack of c**ts get away with calling themselves comedians is a mystery. The Panel is a poor man's Don't Feed the Gondolas, which was a poor leper's Have I got news for you. I despair everytime I turn the TV on and see them. And while we're gleefully slandering comedians, apparently the comedian with the holy name, is a bit of Rupert Murdoch of the Irish comic world and unless you tow the line he won't let you play his club, hence the sheer awfulness of the comic line up in one venue.

Dara O Briain is good though. O'Briain is very good. He was fantastic on BBC's Three men and a boat, where he travelled the Thames with Hugh Laurie and Rory McGrath. Have you heard the same Una? The one trick pony.

David O'Doherty = Comic genius. Every other Irish comic = not one (though some are alright to good) Special mention = Dave McSavage can die a long, slow painful death

Yes, sorry, O'Briain is very good, I didn't mean to include him with that other bunch of idiots. Three Men and A Boat was a great programme alright Nerraw, I found all three of them hilarious. Not to mention the dog! Best Irish comedians: Dermot Morgan, Mario Rosenstock (Gift Grub) Ardal O'Hanlon. Comdedian you'd like to see suffer a slow, tortuous death: Jason Byrne!-Without doubt the unfunniest, most loathsome, most overrated 'comedian' in the history of mirth-making!

Can we agree that McSavage should not be included in any best or worst comedian list due to the trades description act. A jester for English and Hen nights perhaps. I'm a fan of Dylan Moran, Tommy Tierney and david o'doherty. Rosenstock is indeed great.

O'Hanlon's stand-up is pretty poor. I've never really been into Tommy Tiernan either. Dara O'Brian (how DO you spell his name) is probably one of the best around for stand-up. I was at the filming of the Panel on Sunday and he was quite hilarious - really on a different level to the other guys.

LOL- O'Brian? O'Briain? O'Brainianeen? O'Briainn? My head is melting at the thought of it. The appeal of T.Tiernan I will never understand also (since when is shouting funny?), as does Dylan Moran..his vaguely drunken, dishevelled, shakey hand thing is just does nothing for me...I like O'Hanlon I suppose cos of Fr. Dougal, his face just cracks me up in that (near...FAR AWAY!!!), true his stand-up isn't exactly Lenny Bruce.....there is probably only one true comic genius this country has produced: Dermot Morgan, then he goes and dies when his time has finally come....what a shocking and tragic waste of talent.
