Just listening to the album now to see what it's all about and God I don't like it at all! Every song is a whispered, breathy affair in a snotty kind of London accent, I'm just finding it really irritating ..... and it's getting great reviews everywhere including Cluas. Can't see myself listening to this album again in a hurry maybe i might listen to one or two of the tracks on their own.

Was intrigued by this album when it came out particualary because who was involved in the making of it. Have scant knowledge of her oul man's output so i think i'd probably go rummaging for a Serge best-of before i had any aural dalliances with Charlotte. Anyhow, am anticipating one of her collaborators solo ablums, the indisuputably great (go on, dispute, i dare ya!) Jarvis Cocker. Top man!

as I said in the review, a lot of people would be turned off by her accent - but air and serge fans (me definitely included) will like it a lot.

i admit there are some nice melodies in there but yeah its the vocals that turned me off.....
