    23 August 2006 Modest Mouse reveal record details Acclaimed US outfit Modest Mouse have announced details of their new album, 'We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank'. Billboard reports that the album is due out on 19 December and features the band's newest member, former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who will also tour with the band. 'We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank' is the follow-up to Modest Mouse's bestselling 2004 album, 'Good News for People Who Love Bad News'

    Considering the quality of their last album and the fact that Marr is now onboard, this must be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

    I didn't know that Marr had joined the band (I knew he was playing on the album), I can't wait to hear this now!
