Good album, not good live.

Dreadful band. I saw them support Kaiser Chiefs in the Ambassador and they were one of the most annonying bands I've ever seen live - topped off by a terrible cover of 'Seven Nation Army' with a mouth organ. They come across as knobs in interviews as well saying things like 'The only band that we should be compared to is The Clash'. I'm sorry but no mate you don't sound anything like The Clash.......just get your coat and piss off!!!!

Yeah, the Seven Nation Army cover is such a dreadful idea. They might as well round off with an encore of 'Hey Ya'. I don't think they're annoying as people, I've interviewed them once or twice and they are quite nice and polite, but if the singer doesn't get his voice together soon they can say bye bye to any other tours - people surely have to get sick of the noise he makes with his mouth.

Gar is annoyed.... thirdplace is frightened of Gar when Gar is annoyed.... weak band at best. Liked "Better do Better" but 2me it shows the tricks and twists a producer can do for band in studio r worth notin when they are exposed so obviously on the live seeeeeeeeeen yawwww nooowoshimeannnnn

they used to be a baggy band called Countermine and when the ass fell out of the baggy pants, they decided to do something else. a bit like the kaiser chiefs and a whole load of other current bands, to be honest.

Trufax: Holy Moly keeps going on about how Richard Archer is really around 35, but he tells the press he's in his twenties.

oh, that's a pity they're s**te live - I really love their album (full of great pop songs and 'hard to beat' will be a football soundtrack for ever and ever) but I missed their gig in my area last year. I guess I had a lucky escape! don't a lot of english singers have that strangled-vowel thing? especially affected cockney accents (brett anderson, damon albarn) and sneering (liam gallagher on 'cigarettes and alcohol'). maybe the AA roadwatch girls should release a single - what should they cover?

My god i ll add my 2 cents too they were FCUKIN DISGRACEFUL AT OXEGEN ive never cringed so much and wanted somebody to fall to their death off the stage then that band my god talk about a s**t sandwich!

I like the band, Oxegen performance was brutal, no doubt about that, here's what the band had to say about it on their website 9/7/06 Yesterday at the oxegen festival in Ireland, Hard-Fi and a massive line up of bands, struggled to keep afloat as the weather turned nasty! After being in Rome for a couple of days, we got so used to the sunshine, that none of us even thought to bring a jacket. Don't get me wrong, we're not scared of a bit of rain, but this was hard work. All of us had problems on stage, with the wind and rain making everything a battle. Apparantly electrical devices don't like getting wet much. A member of the Strokes crew was sent to hospital after a lighting stack fell over on top of him. We had a nightmare at the start of our set when basically nothing worked! We had a nightmare at the start of our set when basically nothing worked! We appreciate everyone baring with us while we got it all going. Even with the s**t weather and problems, the irish were up for it, and sung all the way through our set. With more rain expected for T in the park today, let's not let the weather get us down. Make some f**king noise!!!

Rain at festival (shock horror) = bad performance? Terrible Band = bad performance? I hate them either way so I'll just continue with my bit of bile toward them. They're just another one of cocky english bands that seem to conglomerate in London
