    just booked my tix to see bell x1 next week, with support from ben christophers (strange but excellent), and the 'daisy okell quartet', featuring lisa hannigan on vocals. anyone know anything about them? are they a new group or is lisa taking over vocals duties from someone else? should be a great night, can't wait...

    It's Lisa with Tomo on drums a pianist and a double bassist. From what I've gathered I think they'll be doing a jazz set similar to what Lisa did (think it might have been with the same guys) at the Bam earthquake benefit gig last year, they'll be on stage at 7:40.

    cheers unicron - wasn't at that benefit gig but i imagine that lisa's voice is well suited to jazz... should be good!
