Came across this on pitchforkmedia.com: http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/features/live/p/punk-rock-karaoke/ Looks like it could be fun, basically a live band will play any song out of a wide range of punk rock classics while members of the audience get up and attempt to er.. sing (or shout as appropriate). Looks like fun and a brilliant way for people to get rid of some of that angst built up after a bad day at work. Who says Karaoke has to be all cheesy Abba/Nolan sisters style disco and endless drunken renditions of "New York, New York" Whadya reckon? Seems like a cool idea, but I wonder if it would work here in Ireland where people tend to be a bit reserved (until they've had a couple of pints)
