Heard it was great - I'm raging I missed it - He apparantly came out dressed as a priest to 'How Soon is Now'...would have loved to have seen that!

Yep - I was vexed when I heard he played How Soon is Now. And Christmas is (apparently) a time for shoplifting. Excellent. That said, the Point, to quote our yellow friends, both sucks and blows. I think it is the first time Moz played here that I haven't gone. Talking of tragically eighties gigs, anyone going to The Wedding Present and The House of Love in the New Year?

we had really good seats for once, everytime I have been to the point recently has been standing and every gig has been crap. Seated this time, sound in venue was amazing !!! talked to a mate of mine who was doing Security, apparently a few weeks ago a brand new sound system was installed !?!?!? would make sence as sound was crystal ! Moz came on in priest garb, first up was How Soon.. nearlly wet meself ! he was in such great voice !!! other highlights were 'Shoplifters', Last Night I Dreamt Somebody loved Me' 'Irish Blood' 'Bigmouth Strikes Again' & There Is A Light' which he played twice here is the full setlist .... Set List: How Soon Is Now? / First Of The Gang To Die / November Spawned A Monster / Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice / Bigmouth Strikes Again / I Like You / Redondo Beach / Let Me Kiss You / Subway Train (into) Munich Air Disaster 1958 / There Is A Light That Never Goes Out / The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get / Friday Mourning / I Have Forgiven Jesus / The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores / Shoplifters Of The World Unite / Irish Blood, English Heart / You Know I Couldn't Last // Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me / There Is A Light That Never Goes Out He also after 'November' said 'Thanks You Glasnevin' which is where I'm from, thought it was quite funny ! also said that he was under no illusions about his present success and that next year he would be "playing Whelans, cause thats the way it goes !" a reallly top night !
