WENT TO SEE THE KINGS OF LEON IN LONDON ON MONDAY AND THEY JUST GET BETTER EVERYTIME I SEE THEM(HELPED BY A MAGIC VENUE IN BRIXTON)I THOUGHT THE NEW ALBUM WAS AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE BUT I ACTUALLY THINK (LIVE ANYWAY)ITS BETTER,ENGLISH CROWD NOT AS MAD AS AN IRISH CROWD BUT WE KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO BE THE CASE GOING AND MAYBE ITS A SIGN OF ME GETTING OLD BUT I ACTUALLY ENJOYED STANDING VERY NEAR THE FRONT WITH A PINT IN HAND AND BEING ABLE TO SEE THE BAND AT WORK!!AND CHECK THIS OUT FOR BALLS,THIRD AND FINAL ENCORE,THEY ONLY CAME OUT AND PLAYED A BRAND NEW SONG"HEAD TO TOES"! GOOD TIMES TO ROLL ON!!!!!!

Ahem, capslock off... third encore was a new song: to me that just shows that they were always planning on doing three encores, bit iffy to me. Don't get me wrong though I love the Kings (just check out my review of their new album for proff teehee) PS:no crowd is as mad (or as annoyingly drunk) as an Irish one

Hopefully they'll be back playing in Dublin early in 2005. The new album is top class stuff.

keep us posted if any of you guys hear about irish gigs.... The album is my favourite of 2004 hands down and I'd love to see them in a decent venue

I was at the gig myself with a few friends. personally dont think it matters if they were planning on doing 3 encores, nothing iffy about it, value for money, thats what it is and then to finish with a new song, and a crackin new song at that. dont see anything bad in that. It was a great gig, great venue, quite easy to get a pint, friendly crowd and up for it too (not as much as irish) but still loving very minute of it. was well worth the travelling and the trains. I am hearing rumours of a support slot with U2 next year, which to be honest wouldnt exactly be the best place to see them so hopefully they'll add a more intimate gig too.
