i haven't lived in dublin for a few years now, so can anyone tell me what's the indie club scene like? any good nights out there?

If you go to Whelan's of a Saturday night you'll think that you've never been away. I popped in a week ago after a year or two and the music was the same. It's comforting to know in this ever changing world some things are a given, Dido songs are always the same and you'll always hear 'This Charming Man' and something by Prodigy in Whelan's. Aw.

There is a small club downstairs in thomas reeds on dame st that has some excellant indie music on weekends...free in of course
