Dublin punk rock n' rollers The Subtonics are the surprise addition the bill in the ambassador on Friday April 25th supporting the Swampadelic 'Jerry Fish and The Mudbug Club' when they play their biggest Dublin headline gig to date. The Subs who have yet to play a live show in 2003 are poised to return with a bang when they open up for the legendary mr Fish whos album 'Be Yourself' has won much critical acclaim and recently helped him scoop a meteor award for best country and roots act. ok..thats the official line on the matter but on a personal level im kinda caught in two minds, the subs havent played in a long time...at the moment were like caged tigers ready to devour small children for kicks...were mad to get out there and fair play to mcd and jerry fish for giving us the oppertunity to play in the ambassador. its an important one for the band on so many levels..and we are calling to all and sundry to as it were com and support the support band...but one thing keeps nagging in my mind....do i try and look all bleedin cool and deadly..buy a pair of gucci sunglasses and a frawleys suit and pretend like i used to mitch mass. or should i get a wash n blow dry from ryan skeltons salon of soul..put on the blue dress and ponce about like kathleen nugent, head of the houskeepers union in trinity college dublin.....im so confused..i look to our lord for guidance every night but he thinks im an evil prick with no soul.....im asking the people of this messaage board.. the frawleys tin of fruit or the blue dress??????

depends on the suit stef. Frawleys are doin a nice brown cord suit with the fake leather elbow patches. Throw in a pair of monkey boots and u are too cool for school. www.cpu-records.com
