... being the epicentre of fun, I'm sure you Cluasers can recommend something to do. I know Cowboy X are playing in Crawdaddy, but I saw them quite recently, so I don't know if I want to go. Then there's that new jazz place on Capel st which might be worth checking out. Any other suggestions?

Head to the Dice Bar, get hammered and meet some weirdos. I did it last night and met a guy just back from London after ten years. Later, after much Hoogarden, turned out he was in prision and just home. He regaled us with tales of his time there, fantastic! just don't mention Dice Bar in your paper, last time ye did that, a few unsavouries hung around like a bad smell for a couple of weeks ;)

You should have gone out last night to see High On Fire. Or monday to see Battles. Then you wouldn't be languishing in this mid-week lacuna. My unhelpful two cents.

Needless to say, you hafta start the night with a couple of cans, an mp3 player and a set of speakers in The Pav in Trinity. Especially on a day like today.
