Features three tracks including a session only version of Electric Hymn, the bands 2nd single due out in April. 79Cortinaz's debut single, Deirdre's Song reached 18 in the Irish charts in September 2004.

For anyone who listens to jamie cullum, U2, colplay, keane, katie melua and the like then you might just find this guy interesting. He has be compared to Chris Martin and Bono. Simple songs, beautiful piano tunes and some amazing string arrangements. This guy is no stranger to the music biz. He was the front man of former Late 80's band The Big Dish. He has written for tv and worked on film scores.

Check out the soviet filter ep, 'naylor shouts at the machines'its been a favourite on http://artists.cpu.ie//bands/31/ for the time that its been on the site. The song 'my polish cleft' has got the no.1 spot 3weeks in a row. J1 has also featured strongly in the charts.
