What with IAK releasing their 3rd album recently and having kicked of their irish tour last night, it would be remiss of me (with a user name of klootfan) not to ask what people reckon of their 3rd album. Personally, it didnt stick in my mind as quick as their second self titled album, but its growing on me. "Over my shoulder", the first single, is quality, and the video is excellent as well, worth checking out. Theres a lot of catchy tunes on it, but it is in my view a tad more downbeat then the second album.. duno.

Haven't given it a good spin yet but loved their previous two. Have only seen them live once (can't remember if i saw them at oxygen) but they were deadly at the guinness breathe gigs a couple of years ago. IMO The best band to emerge from the NAM (new acoustic movement) championed by the nme a few years ago.

Ah..the Guinness Breathe gigs. Yeah, thats were i first saw them. Was sufferng bad after that nights drinkin...long story... Been following them since then. They make some beautiful music and they are sound blokes as well Are you going to catch them this time around. The village on sat. They played the hieneken festival last year as well, how ever it classed with one of the other major bands in the castle, so it was a poor turn out, but a class gig all the same

dont think this album is as good as what they're capable of, but they're a great live band and really nice guys. At the very least, they're doing their own thing, which is always to be commended.

Ah yes, The Amazing Pilots supported Kloot that night. I was at Supergrass in the Olympia.

The Amazing Pilots are excellent. They're coming back this summer: watch this space.
