SKAZZ: This six piece are the embodiment of the Ska movement starting out as a swing and jazz outfit and converting in early 2007 to pure Ska vibes. In keeping with their jazz roots, Skazz have chosen the original Jamaican scene Ska of the 1960’s - when Caribbean mento and calypso first met American jazz and rhythm and blues. Having already shared stages with the likes of The Skatalites, Prince Buster, The Pioneers, Syramip, Dennis Alcapone, Winston Francis and Delroy Williams and performing at the Cork Jazz Festival, Trier International Jazz Festival, Bray Jazz Festival & the Electric Picnic 2009, 2010 looks like a promising year for Skazz. As well as having international reputation as a jazz & swing band, they have also acquired status as one of the only true Ska bands in the country. In short they are a music monster that just keeps getting bigger and better – Ska! Ska! Ska! Ska!

It’s THE SKAZZ - absolutely brilliant JAMAICAN SKA, REGGAE AND LATIN MUSIC, this band are the top banana for dancing and shaking your thang! A fantastic brass section leads the way with alto sax, tenor sax; trumpet ably backed by a tight rhythm section and skanking guitar riffs that will have to jiving away as though you were on the beach in trenchtown. CLASH JAM WALLOP: Ireland’s premier tribute act to the classic sounds of 2 of the biggest band’s of the late 70’s The Clash & The Jam.

    LIZ IS EVIL:
Formed at an open mic session in early 2007. Their demo received Hot Press 'Pick of the Fortnight' which led to nationwide air play and also in the States. Their debut EP has been getting rave radio and magazine reviews and plenty of airplay with the single 'Beached' a favourite. Liz Is Evil have been spreading their raw brand of rock/punk at festivals all over as well as hopping over and back to the U.K.
