Possible contender for gig of the year...well for me anyway. Happiness is beautiful weather, a pit band, and the Foo Fighters playing a blinder of a gig. Interesting set list - they started with Everlong ( unusual as they normally end gigs with this ), finished with All My Life, played Enough Space, which is a f*cking savage song from The Colour and the Shape and which I wasn't expecting as they rarely do it live these days. Played one new song ( The Pretender ) and a cover which I didn't recognise...any takers ?

Im sorry but Id have to dissagree with you there John. I thought it was their worst performance of 4 that Ive seen.
Dave Grohl was pissin me off. They barely played one song fully through, kept getting the crowd to chant in the middle of songs... Aye aye aye!!! etc which particularly annoyed me during 'Stack Actors', which I was excited to see them playing at first.
Also they always play festivals where we can hear all the 'hits', I wouldve liked a few more of the lesser known album tracks.
Pat Smear was a nice surprise at the end and the cover was an Arcade Fire song, which sounded quite good!

Were we at the same gig ? I don't remember Dave leading any chants....

It was great to see Pat Smear there alright. I get your point about it being a greatest hits package but I was happy enough with the set, particularly Best of You which is one of my favourites from In Your Honour.
