If you're interested in dance music, and you're running itunes (much safer than limewire or those russian sites, and it supports the artists who make the music)
check this link -- the 'euro club hits' series:

if you like your postmodern 80's style electro have a listen to Dublin's own The vinny club. (It's not me & I don't know him) He's damn good. He does a cool version of Behave by Charlotte Hatherley

Caught the Hassel Merchants at the King Kong club last night. Very impressed with them.
Great set and it looked like the really enjoyed every minute of it aswell. I will definitely be checking the out again and I reckon there one to watch!
As for the actual King Kong club itself don't bother entering the competition unless you have a 'full' band.

Anyone else heard this Not as you might imagine, some indulgent avant garde solo album, It basically sounds like a stripped down, less noisy sonic youth. No bad thing, if you like Sonic Youth, it's definitely worth a listen.

PJ Harvey's extraordinary 'White Chalk' 7999 6
Started by Quint
Amazing album, has a very unsettling and haunting quality to it. In an interview in The Sunday Times she seemed in a good spirits but the music and lyrical subject matter suggests a tortured soul. Complete departure from her earlier stuff and unlike anything else out there at the moment. Her 'Kid A' Why can't more established artists be as creatively brave as this
