Alot of you may already know them but as Ive never heard The Bad Plus mentioned on Cluas before I thought Id give them a recommendation.
Musical style: Modern avant-garde jazz with rock and pop influences (Instrumental)
Their most known track probably being their cover of Aphex Twins 'Flim' on the 2003 album These are the Vistas.
Great band. So check em out!

Caught the Hassel Merchants at the King Kong club last night. Very impressed with them.
Great set and it looked like the really enjoyed every minute of it aswell. I will definitely be checking the out again and I reckon there one to watch!
As for the actual King Kong club itself don't bother entering the competition unless you have a 'full' band.

Anyone else heard this Not as you might imagine, some indulgent avant garde solo album, It basically sounds like a stripped down, less noisy sonic youth. No bad thing, if you like Sonic Youth, it's definitely worth a listen.

Amazing album, has a very unsettling and haunting quality to it. In an interview in The Sunday Times she seemed in a good spirits but the music and lyrical subject matter suggests a tortured soul. Complete departure from her earlier stuff and unlike anything else out there at the moment.Her 'Kid A' Why can't more established artists be as creatively brave as this
