Since Binokular has admitted to being quite fond of Planet Perfecto I though that I'd rummage through my record collection and see what cheese I was concealing at the back of the pile. Although I'm not particulary proud of this I stumbled across quie a few whiffy numbers culminating in this top 30;

Ah, to be honest, there's worse bands than Kula Shaker. They had a few decent songs. Shame about the lyrics. And the singer. And the swastika.

Norm man, I was at their gig in Dublin Castle (with support from Juniper fronted by 'Dodi Ma' aka Damien Rice) - I was around 15 years old, front row and all about the 'Chinta Beda Beda Tattfaa Taaaaaaaatfaaaaaaaaa'

'Guilty pleasures' is a bit of a misnomer. It's not that I'm guilty of liking these songs but that some people might not regard them as worthy of praise seeing as they are not in the alternative genre.
Personally, I am one of the least snobby people when it comes to music. If a tune is good I like it whether it's abba or xiu xiu!
