I don’t suppose anyone has heard anything about The White Stripes playing Ireland soon? I haven’t either, but I’m always up for starting a rumour.

I’ve just been checking out their website and they are playing in Paris on June 11th before playing Hyde Park in London on the 14th and 15th. Surely some music-loving-non-money-grabbing promoter could get them over for a gig here on the 12th or 13th? Malahide Castle could be option with the Arctic Monkeys playing there a few days after.

There is already 5 gigs in Malahide, I don't think the locals would be up for extending that ...

I've seen them live a few times and I find the prospect of the performance more exciting and gratifying than the actual experience. Jack is self indulgent. I am, as any music fan woudl be, curious to see where they will go after the relatively disappointing Satan album.
