Hey, So been reading cluas for a good while now but this is my first post. Was wondering if anyone's heard much about this primavera music festival in barcelona. Some great bands like Animal Collective, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Deerhoof, José González, Jens Lekman and Lou Reed. Finished college for good at the end of may so was thinking this wouldnt be a bad way to celebrate! Anyone been to it before or know some one who has? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Andy

Meant to post the link. Stumbled accross it yesterday while I should have been getting some work done. Ya saw a clip of lou reed at the commonwealth games closing ceremony, sounded excellent. Would love to see Deerhoof too. Started listening to The Runners Four recently it's realy grown on me. Also wana see Jens lekman only heard black cab but that was enough to get me hooked! Tickets are 115e for the three days (1st 2nd & 3rd of June). But there's no camping so your gona have to pay for accommodation on top of that. Still think it's worth it though.

the primavera lineup is the best i've seen announced for anywhere in the world this year... it's where electric picnic should have been heading instead of taking a right turn in to the alternative mainstream... actually triptych might be just as good a lineup... but those two beat all...

Friend of mine went 2 years ago and loved every sun-drenched minute of it!!! Even got in a few days in Barcelona first and then headed off to it. I heard nothing but good reports from him!!!

Going myself for the first time this year as I've heard tons of great things from well everyone who has ever been! It's going to be a bit of a Will Johnson fest but is that really a bad thing?
