Message deleted by moderator as its content had abosultely NOTHING to do with music (also should point out that the decision to remove the posting had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that this moderator is a complete and utter prude). eoghan

What do ye think the best break up music is?? I would like to break up whilst listening to Raw Power, 'your burning face is goin to hell' or else that tune off pretty woman where Richard Gere gets all emotional, 'must of been been love...'

If you really want to see it, do a google on Best Break Up Letter Ever, you'll find it quick enough. To be fair, we try to avoid moderating if at all possible but we have had problems in the past with what can only be categorised as "noise" or posts that have nothing to do with music. This particular item I have seen probably 20 times in email in the last last few months, I'm sure there are plenty others the same. It ain't getting any funnier, trust me.

As the person responsible for the diluting of civil liberties on this discussion board (ref. changing "The Soap box" description to "music-related freedom of speech") I am pleased to confirm that the break up letter that I deleted from the earlier posting outlined all sorts of (yawn) graphic sexual adventures that a philandering gentleman undertook with various other women in the period immediately before he realised he should really dump his girlfriend. It was the sort of thing you come across on websites that, er, do not have a focus on music. Know worrah mean. If you’re really interested in what such a letter might say you could go to google and do a search for 'best breakup letter' and see what results you get but I wouldn’t waste your time. In the spirit of the ongoing purging of civil liberties I am going to now 'lock' this thread. eoghan (prude & moderator & free-speech plunderer)
