    NW?

    I like Indie electronic.

    Not so keen on Bob Dylan. I've tried but just don't have a huge love for the guy. I think it's his voice. I've listened to all the classic albums Highway 69 etc. There's some nice stuff on some of them but I just haven't been able to work up a huge enthusiasm

    I dont really see the Bob dylan comparison??? Nor electronic!!

    Try more shoegazey indie, lots of lush reverberent guitars and haunting piano's!

    if she's plugged in and aint jingly-jaggly indie, then she's electronic to me

    bob dylan only with the vocals now

    NW = North West

    All I remember is they had a class song called 'The Rat' a few years back... oh and they appeared on The OC, but don't hold that against them, and don't hold the fact that I remember that against me...

    Haven't heard much by the Walkmen, but their cover version of Harry Nilsson/John Lennons "loop de loop" is class.

    what about mastodon? they're indie metal, can I say they're indie electronic?!

    Heard the walkmen last night, they're pretty good. They kind of remind me of joy division. I remember seeing them a few years ago on mtv2. I always thought they were english

    had a listen to the album with the rat on it last night, i can definitely see those dylan influences you were talkin about. the singer sounds so much like him in parts

    New album (You & Me) is very good. As is the album that The Rat is from (Bows & Arrows) but I'm unfamiliar with their other work. Really looking forward to Sunday.

    Totally on board with the Dylan vocal comparrisons.

    was a really good gig after. they played most of the new album. and of course, the rat. have to admit i'm not mad on that song but the rest of their stuff sounded great. great musicians. must give the new album a proper listen

    I agree about the new album; one of my favourites this year.
