i know there a few fellow fans of the trash can sinatras out there in cluasville so the good news is that they're still around...i'm going to the t-in-the-park festival on the weekend and apparently the trashcans are playing...they're on the 't-break' stage which is designed for up-and-coming scottish acts, so obviously the band didn't tell the organisers that they've been around since 1990!...it's gonna be the highlight for me, even if there'll only about 10 people with me watching them at the time i'm sure...

Great to see them back in the saddle. THe are also playing later in the summer, August 16 - headlining at the Liquid Room (http://www.liquidroom.com) as part of the "T On the Fringe" festival (http://www.redt.co.uk/tonthefringe/). Tickets are £9 and available from Ripping Records (http://www.rippingrecords.com) (91 south bridge in Edinburgh; phone 0131 226 7010) or Tickets Scotland c/o Virgin Megastore at 125 Princes Street in Edinburgh. Also planned is 2 live DVD's. The first is mainly from acoustic shows they have done in the last year but the second is going to have footage from throughout their career and they are hoping to get 50-75 tracks on it!! Now that's what I call giving the fans value for money!
