Luna were pretty good live too - though I prefer Galaxie's music. They did however, have one seriously hot assed blonde bassist (drrrrrrrooooooooollllll !!!).

Britta Phillips, her and Dean Wareham are still making records together after Luna split up. Their stuffs not bad, but nowhere near the heights of Galaxie 500.

I'm so jealous you actually got to see Galaxie 500 live. I only discovered them after they had split up and then Luna split shortly after that!

I'm definitely showing my age here!!! I've also seen all the bands I listed live ...AR Kane, Cocteau Twins etc, most of them when I lived in the UK. I was also there when the Hacienda kicked off. It really was like being in the 60s!

Has anyone heard Mark Hollis's solo albums? I love Talk Talk, and I'd like to know if they're in the same ball park, quality-wise.
