au contraire mongo! granted, it is a very different set up to the last SOUNDROOM gig but things would get very boring if we kept them the same, wouldn't they? Any devoted PHANTOM listeners will recognise the name Bran'do - the lads get extensive airplay on Irelands leading independent station with regular rotation of their massively popular single releases, on the go a fair while, BRAN'DO show now sign of slowing down and will be heading stateside more or less straight after this final Dublin appearance for sometime the Crayonz can also boast similar were finalists in the Bacardi/Hotpress Band of the Year competition last year and having recorded a Fanning Session earlier this year, their stars are in the ascendency. Ro Byrne & Earthquake Hair - the formerly bearded Lir guitarist paints a dream landscape of serenity and uptempo surrealism as Dublin hottest new 3-piece continue the gentle crusade in anticipation of a release - details to be announced. 3 class acts - pedigree performers each and ye're quibbling the massively inflated cover charge of 6 euro? hmmmm. but thanks for your views, this is after all a discussion board :-) www.soundweb.ie
