Pete Courtney opens his live account for 2002 with a full band show at The Stables in Mullingar. Pete's new band features Tomo from the Damien Rice Group and Paul Smyth from the David Kitt group amongst others. Support on the night comes from the equally wonderful Margaret Healy whose debut album "...And You Are?" is out now and well worth a listen. Pete Courtney is currently working on the follow up to last years "One Of These Kids", which incidentially is still on sale at all good record stores. the gig announcement page is close by, my friends. Please, Mr. Edison, won't you invent a machine to stop these monsters?

Yes Mark, we know. We also posted it there too. But after extensive market research we found that many of these announcements on said 'close by' page are read but two times. Both times, presumably, by the authors themselves. It's like deciding to advertise in Ireland on Sunday (readership in the low thousands) when you could cut to the cheese and advertise in The Sunday World (read by a million). Not that advertising alongside Big Tom or Break For The Border would do us any favours, or for that matter if we could afford it, but you get the idea... Complimentary tickets for you at the door by the way. You can pick 'em up around 9ish if you want. www.stableslive.com the stables dominick st mullingar co westmeath

No, i'm sorry but you are still wrong to be posting gigs in this section of the forum. People failing to read the gig section reflects the fact that people do not want to read gig listings on this forum so find a better way of promoting your gigs. http://www.kaboommusic.cjb.net
