Howdy! As one of many Nirvana fans, I bought the self-titled compilation album that came out late last year. I feel that it was an utter rip-off with only 1 new track (You Know You're Right) on it. The "digitally remastered" tracks didn't sound very digitally remastered at all unlike the Best Of The Doors compilation that came out 12/18 months back, now that definitely showed an improvement in quality. I've recently read that while this is as yet unconfirmed, there are as many as 4 more Nirvana compilations coming out in the next couple of years, and it doesn't look like there'll be any new tracks in sight. I personally would urge all Nirvana fans to ignore these as all you would need for such a compilation is your Nirvana albums and a CD burner, rather then 20 of your hard earned quids. Anyone agree/disagree? Q2

Rip-off money making scam...don't buy it...treasure your old CDs instead.

Ah yes, the digitally remastered legacy of departed musicians. Check out the quailty of Jeff Buckley's posthumous releases for a real lesson in squeezing the last dollar out of every crappy demo
