The Tainted

Listen to their song 'High as a kite'

Formed in July 1995 in Galway, The Tainted are an exciting new departure on the Irish music scene. Drawing from a wealth of rich and diverse influences, encompassing everything from Brian Wilson to Steely Dan to Led Zeppelin, they blend a style of rock'n'roll that is hard to categorise and even more difficult to predict. Over the past few years, The Tainted have gigged extensively throughout the country, performing in dozens of different venues, including The Roisin Dubh, N.U.I.G and Liquid in Galway, Maynooth College, Trinity College, and a remarkable run of sell-out shows in Eamon Doran's, Temple Bar, Dublin.

The Tainted are:
Michael Valiely - Lead vocals
Aron costello - Harmonies, Bass, keyboards
Mixer Connolly - Guitars
Keith B Brogan - Drums
