My wife's a big silverchair fan so I've heard this album alot...a hell of alot. I find it hit and miss at best and downright uninspired at worst. I have to credit them for not being afraid to change their sound on every record but I think by and large this is a pretty shabby Beatles knock off with a hand full of standout tunes on it

Haven't heard the new album, but Silverchair's "Diorama" and The Dissociatives album (with Daniel Johns & Paul Mac) have been the soundtrack of some good Aussie adventures over the last few years. New album worth getting shipped over then? I'd say their tour with Powderfinger would be a massive stadium rock blast.

Jaysus, there's a band I hadn't heard of in a while!

Was thinking the same myself, reminds of reading "Guitar" magazine, circa 1995
