Oh I do love this band! Out a few months now - Disco punk mixed with 90's dance music! The latest single Atlantis Interzone is belter They're playing The Hub on September 15th thanx to Mr. Radiator - too far away :-( Anyone else heard em yet? www.myspace.com/klaxons

I'm quite fond of Gravity's Rainbow myself. I can't hear the acid house/rave influence that NME keep going on about though.

Ah its all over the shop! We’ll esp on Atlantis Interzone anyway! The vidjoe is gas too – lots of illuminous jumpers and ‘Big Box Small Box’ dance moves thrown about! Reckon they’ll be rockin’ live

yeah i seen the video the other nite on mtv, its one of the funniest videos ive seen in a long time, whats this new rave scene the nme are on about now, jesus can they get any worse!!

Rave Scene? I dunno, dya ever get the feeling that lots of Indie types and the NME throw around words like "acid house", "rave" and "electro" without any real commitment to, love of, or understanding of said genres? Maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old 'lectro-head. :D

Maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old 'lectro-head. :D don't want to be a killjoy here but Binokular I completely agree i see Klaxons as almost a Bentley Rhythm Ace type outfit, fun for a while but a bit of a fad I don't think they can be compared to some of the incredible stuff Justice comes up with and Simian Mobile Disco to a lesser extent NME just lumps them all in together!

Ah come on - the tunes are good. Forget about the legitimacy of the NME tag lines and just listen to the songs!

That should be a good gig. I only know a couple of tracks and they're both belters. I've never actually read NME so I can't say how accurate their categorisation is. Can't imagine it matters much either way. Isn't it just tunes that matter? And to a lesser extemt; crazy jumpers?
