    Can’t believe I missed this. Was supposed to go but couldn’t make it. Couple of my mates went and said that the Things were f*cking amazing. I’m not a happy man. I always miss the good gigs.

    i was at that gig last saturday. and i thought all the bands were class, if anything that night was one to remember, ive never seen eamonn dorans so packed,the hooks, mainline, the things 3 exciting young bands around. who cares what they look like they sound great i hope to see more of them soon.

    anyone who calls the things mods obviously doesnt have any idea what they're talking about. they're more of a punk rockabilly band than anything they're one of the best band around dublin at the minute and are only gonna get better!

    Never seen the Things live, but from the audio clips on their site they sound a like The Cramps, right down to the slightly deranged sounding vocals, which backs up your punk rockabilly theory pablohoney.

    Their next gig in the music centre(feb 19)is gonna be great!! 6 bands and it's free in!!! be sure to check out some of the support acts too THE URGES are f**kin' brilliant!!!! and i hear rulers of the planet are good too... s'pose to be a bit like the things!

    Rulers of the Planet were hilarious when I saw them supporting Japanese band Ex-Girl last year, kind of ADHD punk rock.
