    O EMPEROR IN SESSION ON RTÉ 2XM

     

    This Tuesday at 7pm on RTÉ 2XM, Robotnik's Random Rampage discusses the emotional experience of CRYING. 47: average number of times a woman cries each year. Really? 7: annual number of crying episodes for a man! While Chris Morrin sheds a few tears in the RTÉ studios, he somehow manages to play some tunes from the likes of Roy Orbison, Tom Waits, Radiohead and much much more. Repeated on Friday at 6pm.

     

    Following at 8pm on Needs More Cowbell Cian and Keith will be putting new releases from Villagers, The National and Foals under the microscope and they'll be taking a special look at the Rolling Stones classic album Exile on Main Street which is now 40 years old! As well as this they'll be playing more tracks from Fast Forward, the excellent World Cup compilation album released by Indiecater Records, check it out at www.indiecater.com. Repeated on Sunday at 3pm.

     

    On Wednesday at 9pm, Right Click Radio hosted by Aoife Mc aims to bring you the best of the blogosphere, rounding up the choice picks from blogs around the globe.  This week's show features the likes of Sleigh Bells, Gayngs, Penguin Prison and loads more.  If you miss it Wednesday, you can catch the repeat show on Saturdays at 10am.

     

    Onto Thursday evening at 7pm and Barry and Jan will be chatting to O Emperor on Wired For Sound. As standard they’ll also be laying down a few tracks in a Studio 8 session. Repeated on Saturday at 6pm.
