Anyone over in Barcelona for this one? What a damn excellent weekend.

My favourites were Public Enemy, Sebadoh, Les Savy Fav, Caribou, Midnight Juggernauts (what I can remember of them in the haze), Devo, Devastations, Okkervil River, Notwist, MGMT. I don't think I got to see half as many as I should have but what can you do.

Portishead were dreary, as was Rufus W without his backing band.

Rufus is always dreary . Can he go two minutes without mentioning crystal meth or gayness ?
Devo , MGMT , the Sonics , Pissed Jeans , De La Soul [surprisingly] , Public Enemy , the Notwist .... and others were all fab. Throbbing Gristle were the stuff of nightmares. I legged it after 2 "songs" and nearly puked. Anything on Vice had to be avoided after 4 beers. The Cribs were s**te , Felice Brothers dullish , Silver Jews lacklustre. It all seems like a long time ago.

    I went.

Saw MGMT, Portishead twice, Tindersticks, Swell Season, Public Enemy, Malkmus & The Jicks, Devo, Dinosaur Jr, Port O'Brien and portions of Bob Mould, Felice Brothers and a couple of others. I was just too shattered to stay after 2.30am as Primavera was at the end of 17days on the road for me.

Good fest but I wouldn't go out of my way to attend.
