Wasn't exactly keeping track of time, but I think they were on stage for an hour and a half, maybe less, new stuff sounds really good live, mellower (relatively speaking), but still brilliant.

No idea who the support act were, but they were pretty dull, despite the relentlessly cheery lead singer.

Like, I said, could have been less than an hour and half, it definitely felt short anyway.

Yep, your right, Jim Noir was the support band, remind me a bit of Gomez, can't say I was impressed, here's one of their tunes anyway.

guess it's perception, isn't it?... if it felt short, then it was short...

Yeah I thought the little touch of booing when they didn't re-emerge after the first encore was a bit off-colour.. An hour and twenty minutes isn't Springsteen proportions but surely it's long enough? They got through a lot of stuff, considering the concise song lengths. Anyway, I enjoyed the gig a lot. The ongoing back-and-forth silly comments between the band members and the touch of looseness to proceedings gave it kind of a fun, relaxed feel.. and they sounded sharp, loud and fuzzy but punchy. The quiet song where the two sisters sang into the same mic (I don't know most of the song titles) was lovely.

couldn't agree more, they packed a lot into the time, not a dull moment, I think people started booing when the roadies/techs came out to turn off the amps and remove the mikes, which made it clear they weren't coming back on, but still, totally uncalled for. The between band comments were priceless "we got her on craigslist, and a lawnmower"

Thats from the forthcoming album, it's called "here no more", for those that missed the gig, theres a performance of it at the end of this interview clip:

Yeah, would agree, a great gig but too short. Could have done with two or three more songs. "Here No More" was beautiful, got a huge cheer from the crowd and then they come on for an encore of one? Why'd they even bother leaving the stage?

Just on the booing thing, is it really bad form? How else are we meant to express our dissatisfaction to the band? Write them a letter?

    (didn't boo)
