Pretty good gig but still slightly disappointing. Listening to their music you get the impression they would be quite incendiary live but it wasn't really the case last night. The main problem being it wasn't BLOODY LOUD ENOUGH! Is it just me or are gigs getting quieter? Also they're sorely lacking in stage presence. Maybe I had too high expectations...great band all the same but for now they remain a second-rate Mogwai, which is a good position to be in, seeing as Mogwai are the best band on the planet right now. And Mogwai will deafen you if you see them live. Which is a good thing!
