I've been holding him secret for a whle now, but I guess as he's announced a Whelans gig on 1st April he won't be secret for much longer. Ex-member of Drive By Truckers, Southern whiskey soaked voice, makes being all American cool again. Check out his debut solo album Shores Of The Ditch, and immediately obtain Drive By Truckers entire back catalogue especially The Dirty South. |

missed the gig but love his new album, its preety awesome along with the new Drive By Truckers one, been a good year for those who love their alt country rockers so far, and you havent even heard the new NQ Arbuckle one yet, if you like Jason Isbell you will s**t yourself when that one comes out. |

Will keep an ear out for them so Mesky, sounds good on first Myspace listen. Jason Isbell was great in Whelans, he deserved to sell out but didn't come close which is a crime. Doesn't look like DBT will be fitting us into their Eurotour unfortunately. |
